Katie Johns

Hello! I am Katie Johns and found a passion for teaching when I was only looking for an outlet to volunteer. Volunteering turned into a complete career change from public relations, and I’ve never looked back.  I received my BA from California State University, Fullerton in Communications and returned there to obtain my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, as well as my Clear Credential. I have spent the past several years teaching in the Los Angeles area, but recently had the opportunity to relocate back to my home town area of South Orange County, and am thrilled to be back. I currently work in the Capistrano Unified School District.

I am passionate about cooking, music, and of course the love for my family.  In my free time, you can often find me at the park with my little boy and husband, traveling to new places, or just exploring around Southern California.  ​ ​
